Foldable Armchair From Baroni & Pastori, 1980s

Chairish

$1,502

Mascotte chair by Plana, Italy. Designed by Baroni & Pastori in the 1980ties. The seat and backrest consist of a single piece of cotton fabric suspended over a beech wood frame. The frame is made of two interlocking bodies, which couple when the chair is opened and fold when closed. The chair has a simple, continuous frame with softened edges. The wooden frame is in very good condition, with normal signs of wear. The cotton seat shows clear signs of use, including visible staining. This can be left as is or replaced, depending on preference. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
