Upholstered with burgundy velvet fabric, the seat height is 16 ¾” without the cushion and 19 ⅛” with the (removeable) cushion. The caning is in overall great condition, stained in a golden hue to match the rich oak. Note the caning on one chair has been repaired. Floral carvings on the shaped back beautifully match those on the skirt and legs and there are wonderful paw carvings on the padded arms.
