This sumptuous chair is a faithful reproduction of an original French Empire piece dating circa 1804-1815. The beech silhouette accented with shellac polish is rich in carved details also extending to the backrest, where swans are symmetrically arranged to shape a sort of amphora set in a rectangle. A patterned red cover envelops the seat and padded armrests.
