Beautiful pair of French fauteuil chairs in a Louis XV style with carved wood frames, upholstered seats and backs in striped fabric, and cabriole legs with whorl feet. They are so quintessentially French! Great structural condition, both frame and upholstery which has been cleaned. Upholstery shows a couple of light stains but not distracting; the wood shows some normal signs of wear, particularly on the arm rests.
