Louis xv style gondola-shaped armchair with a wide, enveloping back and the characteristic curved lines of the gondola form. the frame is made of carved walnut wood, stable and solid. The crest of the backrest is adorned with a meticulously executed, centrally carved floral motif—a blooming rose surrounded by foliage. The lower rail also features a central carved motif. A row of patinated bronze/brass upholstery tacks runs the entire perimeter. the red fabric upholstery shows general wear and a significant tear at the junction of the backrest and left armrest, exposing the inner padding. Reupholstering is necessary; this service can be provided by the seller's workshop upon request. workshop report: the wooden frame is entirely original, and the structure is stable without requiring any intervention.
