The Husk Armchair with Painted Base from B&B Italia wraps the body in an ultra-soft cushioned pad that is snapped inside a sustainably crafted seat shell. Designer Patricia Urquiola’s work finds the meeting point between the familiar and the unexplored. The sculptural seat shell features a Hirek® plastic material made using recycled and recyclable polymers. It serves as the base for capitonné-style cushions whose segmented design gives the body embracing support.
