FDB Møbler’s J166 Jørna armchair, designed by Poul M. Volther, is a streamlined spindle-back lounge chair from 1952. Volther designed the chair for his wife Jørna who enjoyed knitting and thus made the chair wide enough to work with long knitting needles. The Jørna armchair is made of solid oak, and its seat cushions are upholstered in high-quality wool fabric. The curved, upward-widening spindle back gives the chair a light yet bold appearance.
