A pair of ornately carved Jacobean style armchairs. Back splats are double caned and topped with scrolled acanthus leaves each side of a central scallop shell. Square seats are upholstered with a light-yellow fern damask secured with nail heads. Turned straight legs supported with an H-stretcher are decorated with rosettes and a front rail carved with scrolls. Each chair measures 24.75"W x 23.5"D x 45"H. Seat height 19", arm height 28".
