The Lafon Chair draws inspiration from the restrained glamour and disciplined craftsmanship of Paul Dupré-Lafon, whose work balanced luxurious materials with deceptively simple forms. The generously upholstered seat and back appear almost suspended within the frame, giving the chair a lightness despite its solid construction. At the centre, the brass backsplash introduces a distinctive detail, both functional and sculptural, catching the light and lending warmth to the piece. This piece was custom client specific so has a textured fabric bouche backseat top.
