The Lepli Armchair from Poltrona Frau is a contemporary offering crafted from birch and poplar plywood, featuring a mix of strong materials softened by an upholstery wrap and defined stitching. Designed by Kensaku Oshiro, it draws on both his Japanese heritage and Italian design training to create a distinctive wasp-waisted silhouette inspired by the female form and the fashion world. A dome-shaped base supports a round seat and curving back, and a Polimex and poplar plywood reinforce the backrest, uniting a stable structure with a distinctive character.
