This mahogany Chippendale armchair hails from the 1950’s and features a yolk back and carved splat. The arms are gently curved and the legs are straight. The mahogany has such lovely grain in the light… hard to capture in pictures. The drop in seat is covered in vintage Bargello flame stitch needlepoint in shades of pink, cream and maroon. The upholstery could very easily be changed. This is a well built substantial chair with lots of room for comfort. Perfect for fireside or a corner in a library or living space. The chair is unbranded.
