The Ribbon Armchair, designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, was created in 1966 and is a beautiful example of applied art. It features a metal frame with horizontal springs and a pressed wood base lacquered in white. It is upholstered in stretch fabric. A classic design destined to remain in history. The Ribbon Armchair is exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
