Pair of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe flat bar steel chairs. These are the original flat steel polished frames upholstered in a maroon colored wool. Originally designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in the 1920s, these two Brno chairs were manufactured by Knoll in the 1970s. They each maintain their original tags on the underside. They are a classic design using cantilevered steel frames and are solid and weighty polished steel as opposed to chrome or steel plating. These chairs are sturdy and comfortable with their urethane foam cushioning. Classic and iconic.
