A hand carved Rococo bergere armchair circa 1890. The solid frame is elegantly carved with serpentine curves, detailed with c-scrolls, acanthus leaves and rosettes throughout. The high back is topped with a pierced crest rail and flows into outward flared arms with scrolled hand holds. The front apron is detailed with a shell motif, and four cabriole legs terminate in whorl feet. Upholstered in a mocha brown cotton blend, finished with a double welt. We have more chairs available.
