Hans J. Wegner famous and beautiful chair is an adaptation of an old Chinese chair of the Ming dynasty; “China Chair”. A very comfortable armchair made in stained cherry. Loose seat cushions new upholstered with black elegance full grain aniline leather, fitted with buttons. Model 4283. Designed in 1944. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
