Handmade by a single craftsmen at Bensen's factory, the chair is constructed with a durable steel-reinforced, laminated wood frame and a steel spring suspension system adapted from automobiles. Seat cushions are made of CFC-free polyurethane, softened by a continuous fiber wrap, and back cushions are baffled for even distribution and to prevent shifting of feathers—all to provide better lumbar support and lasting comfort. Fabric covers are removable for cleaning or replacement; leather upholstered on.
