Pair Of 1950s Italian Armchairs Featuring Vintage Print Upholstery By Ladoublej

Set of two 1950s wooden armchairs with newly upholstered cushions. The chairs were sourced in Milan by LaDoubleJ and include newly covered cushions featuring the brand’s re-issued vintage Uccellini fabric. Printed on new cotton fabric, the vintage pattern was sourced by LaDoubleJ in the Italian archives of Mantero Seta, one of Lake Como’s oldest silk manufacturers. It was originally designed in the 1940s by the Paris-based fabric designer Suzanne Kientz, who was known for making collages to create her prints, often using paper, crayons, gouache and ink.
