The look and feel is absolutely timeless, this chair looks wonderful in any setting The front line of timber is very sculptural and flows effortlessly, I think its early Cuban mahogany based on the patina which was used by Gillow's, the legs are very ornate and hand carved from single pieces of wood The chair has been fully restored to include being hand dyed this lovely deep reddish brown Bordeaux color, the hide has natural imperfections and marks from honest use and fair ware, one back leg has an old and very stable repair.
