Set of light crème bouclé armchairs and stools, designed by Edmund Homa, a Polish architect, designer of Industrial Design and interior architecture, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.The armchairs were made in the 1960s in the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory. They are made from solid beechwood. The GFM type armchair is regarded one of the best Polish armchair design from the previous age. The armchairs have been thoroughly renovated. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams.Upholstery, faux fur has a structure reminiscent of a dense, fleshy, slightly rough sheep fleece. This is one of those upholstery fabrics whose haptic (tactile) qualities are as important as strength, pattern or color. It is characterized by a knotty weave, high basis weight and abrasion resistance. It is available in 10 subdued colors, inspired by the natural colors of wool. Used fabric it's color 01 from the last picture.We can prepare this armchairs and stools also in another wood and fabric color.
