Pair of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern armchairs in solid Rosewood/palisander re-upholstered in pine green velvet. Designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast Møbler, Denmark in the 1960s. Round tapered legs. Back legs extends up to support the flared armrests and the wide curved backrest. An elegant and light design with curved profiles. The beautiful solid rosewood has a very distinctive grain pattern. Impressive craftsmanship and joinery. The curved seat and backrest makes these chairs very comfortable and offers a great lower back support. Very good condition. Re-upholstered with high density foam and pine green velvet. One small scratch to one armrest, please see photo. Wood has been cleaned and polished. Ready for use.
