Set Of Italian Armchairs By Gigi Radice For Minotti, 1950s

Chairish

$5,376

Pair of Italian armchairs designed from the 50s by Gigi Radice for Minotti, recently restored and upholstered in stain-resistant fabric. Their comfort thanks to the large backrest and padded arms makes them the perfect armchairs for any room, combining sophisticated Italian design with functionality. In addition, the thin and stylized legs characteristic of the Italian mid-century finished in golden brass elevate the piece while providing lightness. Early in his career, he worked as an art critic and editor, before turning to interior and furniture design in the 1930s. He began working with the Italian furniture company Minotti, where he designed elegant modern furniture. Over time, Radice became one of the most influential designers of his time, associated with the Italian modernist movement that emerged after the Second World War. He created wood and metal furniture with clean, elegant lines, often in collaboration with renowned artists and craftsmen. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
