A rare pair of Portex armchairs designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and produced by Fritz Hansen around 1940. New upholstery, frame made of beech. The Portex series was mainly exported to the american occupation forces in Germany. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
