Vienna secession armchair, no. 420, designed for kohn around 1905. It is newly upholstered in an original backhausen fabric, named "pfauenauge." the model presented is a thonet production from the 1925s, thonet label. The thonet-mundus company, which acquired the manufacturer kohn in 1922, continued to produce many models initiated by kohn until the 1930s. The thonet and kohn factories, originally located in the austro-hungarian empire, are now, for the most part, located in the czech republic and slovakia.
