This Mid-Century modern Gio Ponti manner armchair is very rare and elegant. This model of armchair certainly provided the inspiration to Gio Ponti for the definitive model used for his house in the Casa Laporte (Ponti lived there 1936-1943) on via Benedetto Brin. This model of armchair was featured in the international exhibition at the VI Milan Triennale in 1936.
