Antique Anglo-Indian carved teakwood armoire, traditionally known as an almirah, once used throughout India for storing clothing and household textiles. Handcrafted from solid teakwood, the cabinet features richly carved sunburst panels, and an exuberant oversized bottom drawer, with the old whitewash finish now mellowed beautifully with age.
