The elegance of this baroque chest is created by the simple royal panels with round arches, slim sides and profound cornices. This armoire on bun feet is typical for Utrecht in Holland during 1630-1650 and depicted in the painting 'De linnenkast' (the 'Linen Press' ) by Pieter de Hooch in 1665. The armoire is delivered demounted and needs to be assembled on site.
