Standing a most impressive nearly eight feet tall and over four feet wide, the single door cabinet and drawer provides plenty of storage space. Hand-crafted in Provincial France in the early to mid 19th century, in Louis XV taste, featuring high quality craftsmanship and solid fruitwood construction with decorative iron hardware, having a molded cornice over carved frieze, single cupboard door with burlwood panel, on large high quality exterior hinge, lower dovetailed drawer with elaborate iron escutcheon and double pulls, scalloped apron with medallion carving, rising on short cabriole legs, ending in raised claw-and-ball carved feet. circa 1830 Dimensions: (approx) 93.25" Tall, 50.5" Wide, 28" Deep; As warm and handsome as it is useful, having the ideal large size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a bedroom clothes dresser / wardrobe, TV stand, linen press / blanket cabinet / towel rack, farmhouse kitchen cupboard or pantry, rustic credenza, buffet, lodge media a/v cabinet, oversized storage cabinet, and more.
