The angular cartouche on this small armoire is 10” high and simply lifts off if the customer so chooses. It consists of a pyramid-shaped base trimmed with ogee crown molding mounted by a carved hardwood crest. Wooden pegs attach it to the bold crown molding of the armoire. Two doors have a short panel above a long one where the prominent mullions form a triangular pattern in the corners. The front edges are decorated with a broad flute capped with acorn corbels. The interior has a retrofitted hat shelf and hanging pole. This piece has a lovely light honey color.
