Antique wedding cabinet dating from around 1780, originating from Franconia, southern Germany. Its heavy, lived-in character and original paintings give it an incredible appearance. Both the design of the cabinet and the paintings are simple and primitive, but authentic and a typical example of folk art from the region. The cabinet is decorated with unusual motifs and the panels are adorned with trees of life. The cabinet has been professionally inspected, with a focus on originality and character. The construction is solid, the painting is worn but preserved, and the patina has been retained. The layout consists of an original shelf with coat hooks. A rod was added later. The cabinet can be locked with the original working lock and impressive key. 189 cm high, 148 cm wide, 53 cm deep.
