Lovely Digoin Sarreguemines ashtray discovered at the upscale "Antiques and Ham" (it's a thing!) antique fair in the toney Paris suburb of Chatou. Hand painted with stylized floral decoration in an Art Deco / Art Nouveau aesthetic. Marks en verso include a incised 116 and an underglaze Digoin Sarreguemines France, dating the piece to before 1919. Excellent antique condition; vibrant colors, no chips, no cracks.
