The materials, colors and shapes are also inspired by the Art Deco movement from the 1920s, which involved the use of of geometric shapes, stylized curves, atmospheric lighting and luxe materials like marble.Ruhlmann was the most important furniture designer of Art Deco and one of his best known pieces are the smoker’s tables and cigar boxes.
