Colorful vintage hand-painted pottery ashtrays with decor of the French Caribbean protectorate island of Guadeloupe. A fun and cheerful accessory for any home or office. Both are signed by the artist on the lower right and bear the mark, en verso, of the MBFA faience factory located in Pornic, France. Both pieces have vibrant colors (photo has a reflection which obscures some of the color), no chips and no crazing; one has a crack on the back that is very hard to see on the front.
