Stunning antique Spanish Renaissance walnut bench, called "escaño" in Spain, believed to date back to the early 20th century. The piece has a deep reliefs hand-carved back that features the shields of the Kingdom of Castile. The base is supported by a carved wood stretcher in two carved legs . Piece shows very nice age and patina to the wood and iron.
