A rare and unusual Neoclassical Biedermeier settee , of a very elegant design ,mixt of sinous and geometrical lines ,with sophisticated and elaborate inlays in ebony marquetry on honey toned maple wood. the marquetry inlays remind of fine stlylised ornement " fleur de lys" and some thin lines allover the wole body , also made of ebony wood.the scrolled tapered arm ending with a leg representing an inusual type of inversed Ionian stilised capital . typical of the work of Josef Ulrich Danhauser of the classical first quarter of the Austrian biedermeier period circa 1820 . Dimensions: 170 cm large by 67 cm deep by 102 cm High.
