$7,554

Welcome to the fascinating world of vintage design, where Melchiorre Bega's Suspended Bar Cabinet stands as a rare and precious gem. This exceptional bar cabinet, created in the late 1940s, is an authentic expression of Melchiorre Bega's creative genius and the golden era of design. Melchiorre Bega is a respected name in the design world, known for his mastery in crafting unique pieces that seamlessly blend form and function. His suspended bar cabinet is a testament to his unique vision, a functional work of art that exudes timeless elegance. The suspended bar cabinet may resemble a suspended trunk in the void, but it is much more. Its external surface is adorned with a robust golden patina brass handle of unique design, and rectangular brass studs, which add a touch of luxury. Under this handle and studs, you will find an external surface covered in brown leather. Hinges on the opposite side allow for lateral opening, revealing an interior also lined with brown leather. This extraordinary suspended bar cabinet comes from a private collection in Bologna, northern Italy, adding an additional layer of authenticity and history to this exceptional design piece. The interior of the suspended bar cabinet is a fascinating interplay of mirrors and shelves, with three shelves in golden patina brass and mirrored glass, ideal for displaying bottles and accessories. The inner door of the cabinet features a mirror with a wooden frame, creating an effect of depth and sophistication. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
