Wave-pleated top apron in perforated metal, surrounding a top trefoil-perforated metal sheet, with a lateral handle in brass. Legs and lower shelf in tube painted metal, supporting a glass lower tier. On casters (fully functional). Hungarian-French designer Mathieu Matégot (1910-2001) was a pioneer among the mid-century modern artists, especially for his industrial-style design and his original use of perforated sheet metal, which he molded into sleek, functional and elegant creations, like this bar cart.
