A stylish and extremely well made vintage French acrylic glass and gold plated drinks trolley, dating from the 1970’s. The design is very similar to models by Pierre Vandel that we have had, though it is actually far superior quality. Rather than the normal brass plated aluminium metal frame, the frame is solid gold plated steel, with clear acrylic glass legs. The toughened glass surfaces have beveled edges, this is superb quality all round. It rolls smoothly on high quality casters. The condition is excellent for its age, there is some slight rubbing to the gold plating around the top edges. The glass has one or two miniscule chips to the edges, they sit recessed in the frame so the chips are not exposed or perceptible at all unless the glass is removed.
