The Emeco On & On Barstool with Plywood Seat is an infinitely recyclable piece bringing technical innovation to the classic silhouette of the 30s café chair. Designers Barber and J. Osgerby are no strangers to innovation; they’re an experimentative duo drawn to new ways of using materials and color. Using Emeco’s newly engineered PET plastic, the duo went to work creating a physically and visually light frame that can easily withstand some punishment. The gentle, uniformly colored contours of the frame balance elegantly with the natural grain texture of the plywood seat.
