Vintage Industrial ‘Nicolle’ Style French Stool A tall industrial metal stool in the style of the iconic French ‘Nicolle’ factory stools manufactured outside Paris. This stool has black legs and a brown seat. Nicolle was founded in 1913 by Paul-Henry Nicolle and what was to become the famous ‘Nicolle’ stool was first designed in 1933. It was originally designed for use in his own factory but then demand saw it being sold throughout France. The original design featured three legs but was changed to four in 1936.
