Victorian circa 1860-1880 Sheraton Revival Satinwood Elevette drinks table made and stamped by Maple & Co London What a table! This really makes serving drinks a sense of occasion when it comes out of this magnificent work of art. Retailed by Maple & Co, one of England’s finest furniture makers, the unfolding action is a thing of beauty, as you lift the top up and out it unfolds, at the same time chrome pulleys lift a glass base silver plated handle removable tray up, the pulleys lock in place and sit flush with the table top, the idea being you have the central section for your glass as tipples and the flat table tops from drink preparation The legs are long and elegant finished with the original castors, the whole piece is in rich satinwood with hand carved Sheraton inlay all over which is sublime work Condition wise, we have cleaned waxed and polished it, there will be some light age and use patina here and there, mostly its a very fine example Dimensions Height:- 77.5cm Width:- 56.5cm closed, 109cm when opened Depth:- 59cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
