This is an Eames wire shell stool, initially designed by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in 1951. These examples date to the 2010s. The listed price includes one stool, and we have several stools available for purchase. The design incorporates a shell seat composed of chromed-steel wire, and has a two-piece black leather “bikini” pad. The four-legged H base is strong yet streamlined, and the curvature of the seat was designed with ergonomics in mind. Each stool measures 22 inches deep, 18.75 inches wide, and 45.25 inches high. Their seat height is 31.25 inches. There are some small hairline scratches on the bases when looking closely, and there is a slight patina on the leather. Overall, these bar stools are in excellent condition. Please see photos.
