This bar stool comes from Maarten Baas’s Plain Clay collection. This collection was originally developed for the Mendini restaurant in the Groninger Museum.Unlike the Clay Series, the Plain Clay pieces do not require lacquered finishes. This difference occurs for a functional reason - the standard Clay technique needed to fit the needs of an intensively used public place.
