This striking set of three antique French bar stools was crafted in solid oak circa 1890 and reflects the bold architectural character of the Gothic Revival style. Each stool features a tall, rectilinear form with turned legs, side stretchers, and a front footrest, offering excellent stability and comfort. The seats and high backs retain their original brown leather upholstery, richly patinated with natural wear consistent with age and use. Decorative brass nailheads outline the seats, backs, and uprights, adding texture and reinforcing the strong Gothic aesthetic. Well proportioned and generously scaled, these stools are ideally suited for a 42" to 45" bar height and are perfect for a wine room, library bar, or French country interior.
