Silver marks indicate this 5 piece Sterling Silver Gentleman’s set originated and was assayed in Birmingham, England in 1825, the era of King George IV. Displaying maker’s marks and hallmarks as well as the Birmingham anchor stamp and the walking lion passant stamp, indicating fineness of 925/1000 sterling made in England. Displaying “Sterling” mark as well as item numbers. Boar bristle brushes.
