A superb Art Deco Satin Birch dressing table. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s. The quality is outstanding, this has a stylish and practical design. The base has lots of storage space with each side containing three drawers, with an additional drawer in the centre. The tall mirrors have lovely banded edges and bevelled glass, the central mirror can be tilted, the side mirrors can be angled inwards and out. We have had this cleaned and given a fresh oil polish, the condition is great for its age. There is just some incredibly minor historical wear remaining here and there beneath the polish. The central mirror has some wear to the silvered backing, mostly in one place on the upper edge, seen in the images. This doesn’t detract from its use, and we feel adds extra character.
