A superbly crafted 1960s vanity/desk By White & Newton of Portsmouth. The company favored the use of teak in many of its staple designs, but on its higher end pieces used more luxurious timbers such as rosewood and Afromosia. This piece uses the contrast of warm teak and dark rich Afromosia to stunning effect. The teak has a lovely rich warm color to it, the darker conker colored Aromosia compliments it superbly. The quality of this piece is lovely and it would look stunning in any home. The mirror can be angled as desired.
