This beautiful vintage antique Art Deco maple wood vanity with full-length mirror and upholstered stool designed by Donald Deskey for Widdicomb was made in the U.S. circa 1935. This 3-piece set is expertly crafted from lacquered maple wood and features a geometric, streamline design with black painted wood accents and original nickel-plated brass hardware and trim. The cabinet has three dovetail drawers and a wooden drawer caddy. The matching stool has original fabric-covered seat. Original wooden brackets that connect the cabinet and mirror on the backside included (photographed separately). Donald Deskey Donald Deskey (1894-1989) was an influential American industrial designer known for his contributions to Art Deco and modern design. He is best recognized for designing the interiors of Radio City Music Hall and pioneering innovations in furniture, packaging, and lighting.
