Door Re-Used

Composition made with a wide tub-shaped painted steel washbasin (D20L) and three 60 cm units with re-used wood drawer (D1CR46) with Prefinito Calce covering top (D1T45).‎ This strongly innovative proposal is completed by two handles (DM2B e DM4A) in two different shapes and materials (copper, brass and steel).‎ The spacious tub-shaped washbasin with traditional drain system and sill, as shown in detail, is disaligned with respect to the cabinet in terms of height and of depth.‎Solid, warm, comfortable: these are the qualities that since ancient time led us to choose wood for our home furniture.‎ The “Door” collection makes it the protagonist and interprets the solid wood just on doors with a work of cabinet-making that recovers ancient techniques, updating and contaminating them with the rigor of contemporary minimalism.‎ The refined versions in solid teak and oak are combined with ones of used and recovered spruce with all their obvious brutality, but no less sophisticated, along with the minimal ones in “Prefinito Cemento” and “Calce”.‎
