English Queen Anne or Charles 1 lowboy or dressing table in walnut from the early 1700s. A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of showing you an American lowboy of this era, which has quickly found a new owner-collector. This one is an English cousin and the originator of the style of the period. A molded edge overhang top sits about three short drawers with a deeply arcaded apron, over strong and well carved cabriole legs on pad feet. Later batwing brasses. This carries a well patinaed older finish. Minor repairs and in sound order. Of pleasing finish and design.
