Silvi model dressing table (makeup cabinet), designed by studio kastilia (produced by fainini fain) in italy in the early 1970s. the piece features a space age cylindrical "metamorphic" design, exceptional for optimizing space: the matching chair on casters fits inside the main structure, disappearing completely when not in use. the frame is made of ivory/cream molded abs. The top opens with a drop-down mechanism, featuring a large round tilting mirror (refurbished) and removable internal compartments for makeup and other accessories. The matching arched chair features the original blue velvet upholstery.
